How much does a website cost in Tampa Bay?

Short answer: in 2026 a small business website in Tampa Bay costs anywhere from about $200 for a simple one-page site to $2,500 and up for a custom agency build, and some agency plans pass $13,000 in the first year once the monthly fees are counted. Here’s what each range gets you, the costs people miss, and what I charge.

The options, side by side.

What changes the price.

  • How many pages, and who writes them
  • A custom design, or a template with your logo
  • Features: booking, a searchable menu, listings, an online store
  • Search setup: Google Business Profile, structured data, town pages
  • Photos and video: using yours, sharpening them or shooting new ones
  • How fast you need it, and how many rounds of changes

The costs people miss.

  • Your domain: about $15 a year, and it should be registered in your name
  • Hosting: free for most small sites on modern hosting, or about $10–$30 a month elsewhere
  • Monthly “care” or “license” fees that keep billing after the build
  • Ownership: if you stop paying, do you keep the site?
  • Changes after launch: is there a support window, and what does an edit cost?

What Turaner Studio charges.

Four fixed packages, paid once: One Page $199, Starter $499, Business $799 and Premium $999. Half when you approve the written quote, half at launch. Nothing monthly from me: you pay for your domain (about $15 a year) and hosting in your own name, which is free for most small sites.

Is a $199 website any good?

It can be, if you know what you’re getting. My One Page package is one scrolling page on a proven layout, styled with your logo, colors and photos, with tap-to-call, a map, a contact form and the AI-ready setup. It isn’t a custom design; that starts with Starter at $499.

Do I have to pay monthly for a website?

Not for the site itself. You need a domain (about $15 a year) and hosting, which is free for most small sites. Monthly plans from builders and agencies are optional, and they’re where the costs add up.

Why do agency prices vary so much?

Team size, overhead and what’s included. A larger agency pays for account managers and a sales team; a one-person studio doesn’t. Compare what’s included line by line, and who owns the domain and the code at the end.

How long does a website take to build?

Agencies often quote three to eight weeks. My packages go live in about 3 days (One Page) or about a week (the others), counted from the day your content is in.
